ST. FRANCIS CHURCH AND CHAPEL OF BONES
A 15th and 16th century building, of Manueline-Mudejar and Renaissance style, with an imposing facade. Not to be missed, the greatest curiosity of its interior: the Chapel of Bones, formed completely by human bones.
CATHEDRAL OF ÉVORA
12th century Roman-Gothic cathedral with a valuable treasure. It is the largest medieval cathedral in Portugal. Visit the magnificent cloisters and climb to the rooftop with stunning views of the historic center.
ÉVORA ROMAN SPA
The Roman Baths of Évora, built between the 2nd and 3rd centuries, were discovered in late 1987, during archaeological excavations in the oldest part of the town hall building in Largo do Sertório.
ÉVORA MUSEUM

ROMAN TEMPLE
One of the ex-libris of Evora also known as Temple of Diana. Don't miss this beautiful example of first-century Roman religious architecture and its spectacular Corinthian columns.
SILVER WATER AQUEDUCT

GIRALDO SQUARE
With a privileged location in the city center, visit this emblematic Évora square, where the highlight is the white marble fountain, built in 1571, at the request of Infante D. Henrique.
ÉVORA UNIVERSITY
The University of Évora was the second university to be founded in Portugal. Soon after the University of Coimbra in 1537, the need to build a university that served the south of the country was felt. The inauguration was on November 1, 1559. Image rights U.E.
ÉVORA PUBLIC GARDEN
The Évora Public Garden, with more than three hectares, reproduces the romantic ideal of a very popular garden in the second half of the 19th century. Ideal for picnicking or getting kids to play. .
DIANA GARDEN

OLIVE PRESS “VARAS DO FOJO” AND GARDEN OF OLIVE TREES
The first record of the olive oil mill dates back to 1810 and remains in operation until 1941. It is a faithful testimony to the manufacture of olive oil without the use of machinery prior to industrialization. A must visit.
Next door is the garden of olive trees, opened in May 2012 and located between CEPAAL and Varas do Fojo, has about 1,600 m2. In addition to millenary olive trees, it has a variety of herbs to make your visit even more interesting. Image rights C.M. de Moura.
